To-day I received another 2 emails from Nigerian scammers. The first one informed me that they have been investigating me to find out why I have not been receiving a sum of money due to me. Then they told me that it was because I have not provided my personal information to them. Following that I was informed that I could get my money if I simply email my address, credit card details, etc. Of course, I simply delete the email. Readers beware of these scammers as they come back to you with different techniques to attract your attention hoping that you would slip up and provide the follow up scam. I have talked about their scams before but I am bringing this up again to inform you of how daring they are using big names to attract you. My 2nd email is quite interesting. They informed me that the UN has made investigation and found that I lost some money to scammers. To compensate me they would pay me a certain some of money but they would need my personal details (ie the usual details). And this email was sent by Mr Kofi Anan, the past Secretary General. They have the audacity to use Mr KofiAnan's name.
Previously they have used Yahoo's website (phishing) and made it very real so that a layman surfer believe them. I wonder why the relevant authorities do not seem to be going after them.
