Email Marketing Permission Granted

Have you noticed that you get a lot less SPAM now than you used to get? Not that you dont get any, we all get some, but there is so much less of it now than there used to be. Your potential customers are getting less SPAM as well. There are two very good reasons for this reduction of SPAM that appears in everybody's boxes.
One reason is that email filters are just much better than they were a few years ago. Many programs now allow users to choose which emails are delivered to their inboxes and which ones are sent straight to the deleted email file. Some email programs deliver only email that is from senders who have been added to a white list.
The other, and probably the most important reason, is that the Congress made it illegal to send SPAM when they enacted the CAN SPAM ACT in 2003. The CAN SPAM ACT became law in January of 2004. This act makes it illegal to send unsolicited bulk email and put an end to a great deal of the SPAM that Americans are getting.
Email marketers are obliged to get permission to send marketing emails to people so the opt-in list was created.
Today sending bulk marketing emails will get you into a lot of hot water and cost you many thousands of dollars if you are caught doing it. The fines can be as high as $11,000 per bulk email sent that was unsolicited.
Email marketers must have permission to send marketing emails. This is simply a matter of getting people to sign into an opt-in list. The other half of the problem is to get them to add your email address to their white list in their email programs.
