Being accredited is a very good thing and a real selling point. So learning institutions, both online and offline, will not hide the fact that they are accredited. They may well hide the fact that they are NOT accredited, however.
Hiding the fact that an online college or university is usually done by using very slick and flashy advertising. They will never say that they are NOT accredited, they will only NOT say that they are accredited.
If the website that you are looking at for an online college or university does not say in big letters
and upfront that it IS an accredited school, keep looking.
